The concept for MarketingPlanGuide.com was inspired by years of working with businesses and seeing the need for tools for the “Do-It-Yourselfer.” We realized that not every business wanted to, or could afford to hire outside help to handle the marketing for them.
John Hunt’s book, “The Do-It-Yourself Marketing Handbook” was first released in 1997 and received widespread accolades for its simplicity and functionality as it relates to creating a marketing plan for a business. Thousands of businesses have used his model for creating a plan, which is the foundational piece of any marketing campaign for a company. John has presented these principal-based techniques to audiences all over the world and his work has been story subjects in all major media, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, U.S.A. Today, as well as interviews on radio, television, and in magazines across the country.
